NYC Marathon

Last weekend Jill and I ran the ING NYC Marathon for the first time.  It was my sixth marathon, so I would consider myself somewhat of a veteran.  None of my previous races prepared me for last Sunday.  It was an incredible experience that will forever be ingrained with my time here in New York.  Thank you to everyone who came out and cheered us on!!  As a team, we raised over $15,000 for Omprakash, which will help fund scholarships for volunteers and support for international non-profits.

Food theme

My last few photo shoots have brought me to two new restaurants/bars.   The first, Chez Sardine, a West Village American/Japanese inspired restaurant designed by Andrew Wilkinson.  Jill and I are eating there next week, so food review to come(not looking forward to the foie-gras-and-smoked-Cheddar grilled cheese sandwich one bit).  The second, Catfish, designed by Adam Meshberg.  It’s a fun Cajan themed bar in Crown Heights Brooklyn, with A Little Sumpin on tap!
